• Yes, although I am currently on a waitlist for new clients. You are still welcome to reach out to be placed on the waitlist. Wait times can be unpredictable based on current client progress and preferences, but clients who have open availability usually are on shorter wait times than those who need evenings, since evenings are more popular.

  • I do accept some insurance and self pay. Please see my services page for more detailed information.

  • I generally have hours between 10am and 5pm Tuesday through Friday in-person. I have some limited availability outside of these usual hours virtually. I have more flexibility with telehealth availability and limited in person hours.

  • Many people start off worrying if virtual visits will allow them the therapeutic benefits they are looking for. While telehealth isn't the best fit for everyone, almost all clients whom I've worked with both in-person and virtually say they get as much or more from being able to meet virtually. Telehealth removes barriers of cost and time of travel. Many clients with anxiety avoidance state telehealth allows them to attend more sessions and spend less of their day having to plan or think about their appointment. In the comfort of your home, you may find it is easier to open up about difficult topics. While offices are designed to be welcoming and calm to all, you have personally designed your home to be comfortable to you. Our bodies and brains naturally hesitate to get comfortable enough to get vulnerable in new environments as we make safety assessments, so telehealth can help many people dive into the therapeutic process more quickly.

  • I have a few limited daytime appointments available in-person. My office space is within Switchboard in Fountain Square by appointment only. Please contact me to coordinate current availability. If that doesn’t work with your schedule, it's OK to try out virtual and let me know if it's not for you. If it turns out you need in-person visits outside my availability, I can provide a list of referrals of folks who see in-person clients if you do not wish to remain on a waitlist for expanded availability.

    Address:
735 Shelby St, Indianapolis, IN 46203

  • There is a free parking lot right next to Switchboard on the north side of the building across Hoyt Street. There is also free street parking surrounding the area. Once you have parked, call or text me and I will meet you at the front desk for our scheduled appointment.

  • Sessions are either approximately 45 minutes or approximately 60 minutes based on your individual needs. After your intake session, lasting approximately 60 minutes, we can identify which will usually be the best fit for you.

  • No. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and not licensed as a doctor and therefore cannot provide medications or medical advice. If you are in need of this support, I can help clients find a psychiatrist or other medical professional to prescribe medications.

  • I am fully vaccinated and will be happy to wear a mask during your visit, should you request it. Please be advised that I do not control or monitor vaccination status or masking of others in the building. I follow CDC and county regulations for managing the spread of COVID-19.

If you are experiencing any health symptoms, I may advise we move to virtual or reschedule. If for any reason you do not feel comfortable with in-person visits, telehealth sessions are available. Policies are subject to change during surges.

  • I like its metaphorical/symbolic representation. From a young age I have felt soothed by taking a drive on the open road. Being able to take to the road felt like an affirmation of freedom, control, and time to just be; a place to think while I traveled to where I needed to go. I see my role as a therapist to support my clients' journey much in this way. I aim for therapy sessions to be empowering, open to possibilities, thought provoking, and to eventually get you where you want to be.

  • Yes, please feel free to contact me if you are looking for more information to understand whether or not I am a good fit for your treatment goals. If I can't answer your question, I will find out where to direct you.
